ABOUT US A group
of area residents gathered at the Seminole Elementary School for a worship
service on January 19, 1964. They were interested in starting a new church that
was friendly, relevant, and Christ-centered. This group grew and officially
organized as the Lake Seminole Presbyterian Church on May 16, 1965. For over
40 years, this church has been an integral part of the community as it
joyfully worships Jesus Christ and extends a helping hand to those in need. VISION STATEMENT That the light of God shine in a hurting and troubled world. OUR We are
followers of Jesus Christ who love one another, lift up our voices in worship
and song, learn about our faith, and light a candle of hope in the world. OUR v
As brothers and sisters in Christ, each individual is important and
we are called to love each other as part of God’s family of faith. John v
God desires that his creatures gather together to joyfully worship
him. Psalm 147:1 “Praise the Lord! How good it is to sing praises to our God; for
he is gracious, and a song of praise is fitting.” v
Followers of Jesus are continually seeking to grow in their
knowledge and under-standing of the Christian Faith. Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light
to my path.” v
God calls us to live as his servants in the world by sharing his
