The
Interfaith Food Pantry is in need of donations of non-perishable food items. Their supplies
are dwindling very quickly as they are experiencing a very large increase
of people in need. Our church has been very generous in giving. Some suggested items for donation are
Hamburger Helper, baked beans, canned beef stew, Spaghetti-O’s, etc.
Kids’ Praise
Time – Kid’s
Praise Time will resume on August 1 with a craft, singing, and caring for
our sunflower plants. (Thank you to Janet Mulligan and Roney Sorensen for overseeing the sunflower project.) On
August 8 we will mix the ingredients to make a mosaic stepping stone for
the flower garden. The rest of August will be our window painting projects.
Please dress the children appropriately for these activities. Any questions

Dinner and a Movie for Wednesday, August 11, will be ‘The Blind Side’ with Sandra
Bullock. This is a family friendly film based on a true story about how one
family’s faith and perseverance changed the life of one young man in an
amazing and powerful way. A sign up sheet for the potluck dinner will be in
Smead Hall.

v Worship in the Sanctuary will be at 9:30 AM
v Kids’ Praise Time will be 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM
v Child care will be available at 9:45 AM
Summer Adult Sunday School
will continue on August 15 at 10:45 AM in Room # 4 of
Smead Hall. We will be studying C.S. Lewis, the author of Mere
Christianity. Dr. Bilang will be leading these sessions. Regular Adult
Sunday School will resume on Kick-Off Sunday, September 12.
