The
Silver Tea
The annual Silver Tea organized by the Presbyterian
Women (PW) is scheduled for February
17, 2010 in Smead Hall at 1:00 PM. Featured in the event are THE
ORIGINAL GRANDMOTHER ROCKETTES.
The Grandmother Rockettes are
a dynamic group of women who will make everyone rethink the myth of
retirement. These “young at heart” women range in age from 67 to 89 years.
They perform tap routines to Broadway tunes, big band classics, and
familiar favorites. They appear at civic functions, churches, condos,
retirement homes, and various benefits. They have performed at the Largo
Cultural Center
and the Mahaffey Theater. They receive training at the Jeanne Lynn Dance
Studio. Their choreographer is Jean Hall.
